Our Role
To undertake scheduled and unscheduled environmental monitoring at 11 waste transfer stations/landfill sites (active and closed) since 2020 which includes the following:
- Quarterly groundwater quality monitoring;
- Quarterly surface water quality monitoring;
- Monthly landfill gas monitoring;
- Monthly leachate monitoring; and
- Management of a results database, data analysis and completion of technical
compliance reports.
Outcomes
FPE has identified the need for improvements to the monitoring program and our performance resulted in an additional year of work added to the contract duration.
